Krents was the seminary producer for The Eternal Light on NBC-Radio (1944- 1981); NBC-TV (?-1989). Krents was director of radio and television at the American Jewish Committee, director for the committee's William E. Wiener Oral History Library, now part of the New York Public Library. Krents was awarded a lifetime achievement award in 1989 from the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for producing Eternal Light (1944-1989).
