Born in Tarnopol, Austria 12/25/1909; died 12/9/1990 following a long illness in Glendale, California. Raised in Cohoes, New York. Educated at the Manhattan College. Professional heavyweight wrestler that was discovered by Josef von Sternberg. Screen debut in bit role in The Shanghai Gesture (1941). Clon on It's About Time for CBS-TV (1966-1967). Julie on The Chicago Teddy Bears for CBS-TV (1971).
