Born in the British Bahamas ca 1927; died in October of 2005 at age 78 in England. He began his career while in his teens on stage, then served in the British Army's theatrical unit during WWII. Following WWII, he worked in radio and television in New York. He made his 1952 London stage debut in The Troublemakers.

Spike Stranahan in the 1955 BBC-TV mini-series, Return to the Lost Planet. His acting career ended in 1961 when he contracted polio. After spending a year in a hospital, he became a newsreader at Southern Television, then in 1964, he became head of television programs at Gibraltar Broadcasting.
