After his boxing career ended in 1933, he made a second career as actor and comedian in vaudeville, in movies and on radio and television. He appeared as a guest on many radio programs including those of Rudy Vallee and Jack Carson. He was star of The Slapsie Maxie Rosenbloom Show, which was a own comedy show co-starring Benny Rubin and Patricia Bright on NBC from 7/23/1948 to 9/29/1948.
