Born 1/3/1916 in Minneapolis, Minnesota; died 10/21/1995 of a heart attack at a Hyannis, Massachusetts hospital. Married and divorced to the Andrews Sisters manager Lou Levy (?-?). Organized the group in 1932. High note singer with the group, and always appeared on the left. 1970 was named dean of women at the Tahoe Paradise College in Lake Tahoe, California.
