Born in Glendale, Arizona 9/26/1925; died 12/8/1992 of a heart attack in Nash- ville, Tennessee. Robbins recorded eighteen number one hit songs, winning two Grammy Awards (El Paso and My Woman, My Woman, My Wife). Regular performer on The Grand Ole' Opry for ABC-TV (1955-1956). Guest star on television programs including Music Country USA for NBC (1974); Barbara Mandrell & The Mandrell Sisters for NBC (1980-1982).
