Spoiler : Bettger, Lyle Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 2/13/1915; died 9/24/2003 of undisclosed causes at his home in Atascadero, California. He had been a resident of Paia, Hawaii since 1974. Married to actress Mary Rolfe (1940-1996 her death). He was the son of Franklin Bettger, a third baseman for the St. Louis Cardinals. Bettger graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in 1937. After working in summer stock and on Broadway, he made his film debut in 1950's No Man Of Her Own. Last feature movie was The Hawiians (1970).
