Born in Brooklyn, New York; died 11/22/1996 at age 83 of emphysema in Lake Tahoe, Nevada. Pianist that was the leader of the Ken Lane Singers (Ken Lane Chorus), featured on radio programs including Your Hit Parade on NBC and CBS from the late 1930's through the 1940's. Lane became Dean Martin's pianist/ accompanist in 1956. Composer of Dean Martin's theme song, "Everybody Loves Somebody." Regular performer on The Dean Martin Show for NBC-TV (1965-1974).
