Studied piano at New York's Damrosch Academy, then left to join The Potboilers actor's group in Los Angeles, California. Stage debut in The Joy Of Serpents at the Greenwich Village, New York Provincetown Playhouse in 1928. On screen in Straight From The Shoulder (1936). Regular performer on her husband's radio program, "Columbia Presents Corwin" (1944).
