Bentonelli, Joseph (birth name was Joseph Benton) Born in Sayre, Oklahoma 9/10/1900; died 4/4/1975. Opera tenor that studied music and began his singing career in Paris, France before returning to America in 1934. He sang with the Chicago and Metropolitan Opera Companies on stage and radio. He made other appearances on radio programs including The Chase and Sanborn Hour; The Ford Sunday Evening Hour; The Kraft Music Hall; Vick's Open House.
