Spoiler : Howard, Joe E. (birth name was Joseph Edgar Howard) Born in New York City 2/12/1878; died 5/19/1961. He collapsed after singing "Let Me Call You Sweetheart" on stage at a Chicago, Illinois theater where he was performing in a charity benefit. Howard was orphaned at age seven, the lived in an orphange until his teens when he ran away to perform in minstrel shows, and vaudeville as a boy soprano. Composer of songs including "Hello Ma Baby" (1899); Goodbye; My Lady Love; I Wonder Who's Kissing Her Now?
