Born in Louisville, Kentucky 7/18/1910; died 9/19/1979 of injuries suffered in a Camarillo, California auto accident. Carr was the leader of his own band at age twelve. Arranger and pianist for bands including Clyde McCoy, Vincent Lopez, Henry Busse, George Olsen and Hal Kemp. Composer of many songs including Hello Mudduh, Hello Fadduh and Waltz In Ragtime. On radio during the 30's and 40's in many band remotes and as a guest star.
