Belcher, Jerry Born in Austin, Texas 11/7/1895; died in 6/1962 in California. Belcher teamed with Parks Johnson in 1932 on KTRH-Houston, Texas on a program where they performed sidewalk interviews. The team replaced Jack Benny for the summer of 1935, then were hosts of Vox Pop on NBC-Radio (1935-1936). Belcher and Johnson split up in 1936, and Belcher became the host of Our Neighbors, later retitled to Interesting Neighbors on NBC-Radio (1937-1938).
