Born in Charleston, West Virginia 2/28/1923; died 11/2/2005 at a convalescent home in Palm Desert, California where she had been living since suffering a stroke. On Broadway in 1948 in George S Kaufman's "Bravo," which ran for 44 performances. Screen debut playing Cassie in The Phenix City Story (1955). Last movie role was playing Paula in Fun With Dick and Jane (1977), then was retired until her death.
