Born in Salt Lake City, Utah 9/28/1906; died 12/30/1982 of a heart attack in Rancho Mirage, California. He graduated from Stanford University in 1929, then began his radio career as a pianist at stations of KGO and KPO in San Francisco. Later, he became music director at WOV-New York.
