Spoiler : Born in New York City 2/10/1913; died 6/17/1988. Began his singing career in Bert Block's orchestra, then was a member of The Three Esquires vocal group (with Earl Hagen, Allen Stordahl). He became a dopular vocalist when he joined Tommy Dorsey's Orchestra in 1936, and he was featured on radio programs with Dorsey including The Raleigh-Kool Program for CBS (1937- 1939). Served in the armed forces during WWII. Singer of hit tunes, Marie and Once In Awhile. Host of The Jack Leonard Show on DuMont-TV (1949); Broadway Open House on NBC-TV (1951).
