LaRue, Jack (Gaspare Biondolilo) Born in New York City 5/3/1902; died 1/11/1984 of a heart attack in Los Angeles, California. On Broadway playing the mandolin in Blood And Sand (1921). Screen debut in The Mouthpiece (1932). Afterwards "The Merchant Of Menace," as he was nicknamed, usually played a gangster on screen and stage. Narrator/host of Lights Out on NBC-TV (1949-1950).
