Manning, Irene (birth name was Inez Harvuot) Born in Cincinnati, Ohio 7/17/1912; died 5/28/2004 of congestive heart failure at her home in San Carlos, California. Married and divorced 3 times including Het Manheim (1937-?); rocket designer Maxwell W. Hunter II (1964-2001 his death). Manning's family moved to Los Angeles when she was ten years old. Following graduation from Los Angeles High School, she studied voice on a scholarship at the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York.
