Born in Trenton, Missouri; died 2/24/2003 at age 80 of respiratory failure and complications from renal cancer in Lancaster, California. Lynn began her career in 1940 as a vocalist in Emerson Gill's band. She moved to Hollywood in 1942, where she recorded her popular hits, "Who Wouldn't Love You" and "Big Boy."

Linda

In 1944, she joined Artie Shaw's band, was the singer on their hit tune, "Accentuate the Positive." Later she sang with the Merry Macs and Starlighters vocal groups. From the late 1940s, she was the singing voice of many actors in movies including dubbing for Mona Freeman in 1947's Mother Wore Tights, and Leslie Parrish's Daisy Mae in 1959's Li'l Abner.
