Spoiler : Hatfield, Hurd (birth name was William Rukard Hurd Hatfield) Born in Manhattan, New York 12/7/1918; died 12/27/1998 at a friend's home in Monktown, Ireland (Hatfield had been living in Rothcomack, Ireland since the 1970's). Never was married. Hatfield began his career with the Dartington Hall company in England. Screen debut in Dragon Seed (1944). Mostly remembered for playing Dorian Grey in the 1945 movie version of Oscar Wilde's novel, "The Picture of Dorian Grey." Host of Hollywood Screen Test on ABC-TV (1950-1951). Pilgrim on the ABC-TV soap, General Hospital (1986).
