Harold Lloyd, was a genius, and paved the way for so many, just like Buster Keaton, Charlie Chaplin, Laurel and Hardy, the three Stooges, Dick Van Dike, Donald O'Conner in the scene from Singing in the Rain titled, , , Make Them Laugh. John Ritter, Jerry Luis, Don' Knotts, a long list of good quality comedians, , oh wait! Bob Hope, and my all time favorite THE MARX BROTHERS _!! In horse feathers...Wow! What a hoot, digging Dee, Dee!!!!!

Born in Duisburg, Germany 12/23/1922; died 5/21/1976 in Los Angeles, California. Educated in Holland and the Ohio State University. Lloyd came to America in 1939. He began a radio career in Hollywood before serving with the U.S. Army's Ski Troops during WWII.
