His "Science Editor" radio program was broadcast on the CBS station in Lexington, KY while I was there in the late 60s and early 70s. They came on once a week around between 11p and midnight and were about five minutes in length. Brings back memories of a pleasant time for me.

Hale Sparks had a weekly radio show called the "University Explorer" There is very little about it on the net. I find no evidence that any of these shows have survived, but I dearly hope one has.

If I remember correctly, Bryson Rash was the host.

I listened to the "University Explorer" as a kid. The UCLA library seems to have transcripts of many episodes filed away in a storage room.
