Spoiler : Rowell worked at television stations WPIX-New York; WLW-Cincinnati; KYW-Cleveland. While working at KOTA-Rapid City he created and hosted a children's program titled, "Captain Glenn's Fun Wagon" for the last eight years of his life.

Spoiler : Born in Pontiac, Michigan 11/2/1899; died 10/9/1965 in Rapid City, South Dakota. Rowell began his career in 1924 as a rag-time pianist on radio station WLS-Chicago. He was one of the originators of The WLS National Barn Dance and The National Farm And Home Hour. Member of a comedy team, first with Ford Rush; then with Gene Carroll (Gene and Glenn). The comedy team of Gene And Glenn was featured on radio programs including The Quaker Early Birds Program for NBC (1930-1932); Gene And Glenn for NBC (1934, again on NBC (1939-1941). Rowell quit the act in 1943, and Gene Carroll continued on without him.
