Born in Chicago, Illinois 12/19/1901; died 6/17/1974 in Palm Springs, Cali- fornia. Musician with bands of Ben Pollock (1928-1932); Benny Goodman (1933- 1934). Musician-arranger with the Bob Crosby Orchestra (1935-1942). Served in the U.S. Army (1942-1945). Following the war became the business manager for Bob Crosby.
