Spoiler : Born in Brady, Montana 8/29/1916; died 12/12/2000 of heart failure at his home in Rancho Mirage, California. Married and divorced to singer-actress Dinah Shore (1943-1963). Studied interior decorating at the University of Montana before he became a heavyweight prizefighter, then a movie stuntman with 1935's The Singing Vagabond. Screen acting debut billed as George Letz in a Lone Ranger serial, then appeared as Montgomery in The Cisco Kid And The Lady (1939). Last movie was Blood, Money and Tears (1989). Served in the Army Air Corp (1943-1946).
