Born 7/23/1917 in Westerly, Rhode Island. Died 5/26/2007 of emphysema in Sherman Oaks, California. Composer and pianist that attended Juilliard School of music and began his career as an arranger for big bands. Was a member of Tommy Dorsey's band, and led the Air Force band during WWII. He recorded a series of twenty-five albums of piano concertos for Warner Records. For the film, The Eddy Duchin Story, Greeley's hands were seen when the star, Tyrone Power played the piano.

Composed the theme for My Favorite Martian on CBS-TV (1963-1966). Composed music for television series including My Living Doll and The Ghost and Mrs Muir.
