Born in Ekatarinaslav, Russia 2/18/1903; died 6/7/1984 in Palm Springs, California. An orphan as a baby, he was adopted by the Givot family who immigrated to America and settled in Omaha, Nebraska.

Radio debut on The Eddie Cantor Show in the early 1930s. Host of radio programs including George Givot's Acropolis No. 7 on CBS-Radio (1934); the syndicated 1948 program. The George Givot Show. Other radio programs that Givot appeared on were The Big Show; The Old Gold Show; Radio Circus.
