Chandler, George L. Born in Waukegan, Illinois 6/30/1902; died 6/10/1985 of Alzheimer's disease in Hollywood, California. Began in vaudeville billed as, "George Chandler, the Musical Nut." Screen debut in Tenderfoot Thrillers (1927). Uncle Petrie Martin on Lassie for CBS-TV (1958-1959). Ichabod Adams on Ichabod And Me for CBS-TV (1961-1962).
