Born in Ohio 9/15/1898; died 4/12/1954. Arnold began his broadcasting career on WOK-Chicago in 1928. Gene Arnold and the Commodores were regulars on Carefree Carnival for NBC-Radio (1935). Host of The Sinclair Weiner Minstrels on NBC-BLUE (1932-1937). Adult voice of James Whitmore Riley on Way Down East for syndication (1936-1937); NBC-BLUE (1938).
