Gorme, Eydie (Edith Gormezano) Born in the Bronx, New York 8/16/1932. Married to singer Steve Lawrence (1957- present). Singer with bands of Tommy Tucker and Tex Beneke before she became a regular vocalist on The Steve Allen Show for NBC-TV (1953-1957). Co-star of The Steve Lawrence-Eydie Gorme Show on NBC-TV (1958). Singer of the theme for Life With Lucy for ABC-TV (1986). 1967 Grammy Award for best female vocalist.
