Spoiler : Born in Lynn, Massachusetts 3/12/1908; died 12/18/1981. This opera tenor began his career with an opera company in Boston. He began his radio career singing on WWJ-Detroit, then moved to New York where he sang with the New York and Metropolitan Opera Companies, later with The La Scala Opera in Italy. He was a guest star on radio programs of The Chicago Theatre of the Air; The Magic Key; The NBC Symphony; Squibb's Golden Treasury; The Voice of Firestone. Star of his own radio program called NBC Presents Gene Conley (1939).
