Spoiler : Hirsch, Elroy (aka Crazylegs) Born in Wausau, Wisconsin 6/17/1923; died 1/28/2004 at an assited living facility in Madison, Wisconsin. "Crazylegs" was an All-American football player (1942-1943). Served in the U.S. Marine Corp (1943-1946). After his discharge he joined the Chicago Rockets (1946-1948), then Los Angeles Rams (1949-1956). Host of his own radio-television sports shows, was a guest star on many television programs including playing a saloonkeeper on the syndicated series, Shotgun Slade (1959-1961). Played himself in the 1953 bio-film, Crazylegs. Retired from acting and football to become the Director of Athletics at The University of Wisconsin. Enducted into the Football Hall of Fame in 1968.
