Born in New York City 4/17/1904; died 10/9/1988 in New York City. Brother of writer James Chodorov. Chodorov first worked as a stage manager, dramatist and director. Chodorov's first play was (Wonder Boy) in collaboration with Arthur Barton (1931). Writer for television including The Billy Rose Show (Billy Rose's Playbill) on ABC (1950-1951); syndicated series, Broadway Television Theatre (1952-1954).

Chodorov was blacklisted in 1953 by the Hollywood studios after being identified as a Communist Party member by choreographer Jerome Robbins.
