Worked in early radio, and introduced us to Jack Pearl, Will Rogers, Paul Robeson, Al Goodman's Orchestra and many others. Host of The Ziegfeld Follies Of The Air on CBS-Radio (1932). Appeared on television in 1944 as the host of WOR-TV's aviation program Wide Horizons, then was the host (the doctor) of Anywhere, U.S.A. for ABC-TV (1952).
