Bestor, Don Born in Langford, South Dakota 9/23/1889; died 1/13/1970 in Metamora, Illinois. Pianist in vaudeville before forming his band that appeared in hotels, ballrooms and night clubs. The Don Bestor Orchestra provided music for radio programs including The Nestle Program (1933-1934) and The Jack Benny Program on NBC (1934-1936).
