Spoiler : Born in Boston, Massachusetts; died 2/29/2000 at age 98. Osgood was an actor on stage and radio for 13 years using the name of Elmer Cornell. Director for The Yankee Network. Actor-writer-commentator-newscaster at WXYZ-Detroit from 1935 until sometime in the 1960's. Proctor on Ned Jordan, Secret Agnet for WXYZ-Detroit (1938-1942). Radio-television columnist for the Detroit Free Press during the 1950's. Osgood wrote a memoir of WXYZ titled, Wyxie Wonder- land: An Unauthorized 50-Year Diary of WXYZ, Detroit.
