Spoiler : Continuing role on Big Sister Appeared with Jack Carson on The Camel Caravan. She had a CBS-TV talk show, The Diana Barrymore Show in 1950, but it never aired, as on the night of the first show she showed up too drunk to host it, so CBS canceled it. That show became The Faye Emerson Show, which made Emerson famous, and led to many other TV series for her. Her autobiography, "Too Much Too Soon" was published in 1958.

Daughter of actor John Barrymore. Married and divorced to Bramwell Fletcher (1942- 1946); tennis pro John R. Howard (1947); actor Robert Wilcox (1950-1955 his death). Attended schools in Paris and America. In 1937, she studied acting at the American Academy of Dramatic Art in New York. 1940 Broadway debut playing Caroline Bronson in Romantic Mr Dickens. Screen debut with an uncredited role in Manpower (1941), then played Anne Partridge in Eagle Squadron (1942). Last movie was an uncredited role in The Mob (1951).
