Married to Katherina Albert (1931-1970 her death); artist Bernice Tolins (?-1993 her death). Daughter is actress Joan Evans. Eunson moved to Los Angeles in the 1920s with his father and stepmother. He attended USC for a year, but had to drop out because of money problems. He worked as a publicist for movie studios, then became a secretary to novelist and George Washington biographer Rupert Hughes. Hughes encouraged Eunson to rewrite some short stories he had written, and helped him sell them to magazines. In 1930 Hughes recommended Eunson to work as secretary to Ray Long, editor of the Cosmopolitan magazine. Eunson rose quickly, becoming associate editor in 1933, then fiction editor as well as freelance contributor for the magazine. Eunson and his wife, Katherine worked together writing for Broadway, motion pictures and television. Writer of movies including All Women Have Secrets (1939); Joe Panther (1976). Writer for television including episodes of Leave It To Beaver on CBS and ABC (1957- 1963); Little House On The Prairie on NBC (1974-1982).
