She was 5’8”, slender and was known for her long, expressive hands. Cornelia began acting in the theater before 1929. During the early 1930s, Cornelia was the manager of a Chicago radio station, then became one of its radio entertainers. She preferred radio to theater or film. Cornelia Osgood played “Flo Gardner”, the heavy in the radio series “The Wilson Mystery Drama” on WJJD Chicago in 1930-1932[1]; joined the cast of “Myrt & Marge” in September 1932[2]; played “Dorothy Regent”, sister of the hero in the radio adventure series “Chandu the Magician” on WGN Chicago Cornelia L.
