Born in Florence, Italy 10/19/1928. Daughter of musician-writer Frank Chapman and writer Elizabeth Cobb, and granddaughter of the humorist Irvin S. Cobb. Married and divorced CBS newsman Mike Wallace (1949-?), attorney Greg Bautzer (?-?) and actor William Eythe (?-?). Co-host with then husband Mike Wallace for All Around The Town (an interview program for CBS-TV 1951-1952); Mike And Buff for CBS-TV (1951-1953). Panelist on Masquerade Party for CBS-TV (1953-55).
