"America's Boy-Friend," as he was dubbed was married to Mary Pickford (1936-1979 her death). Mary Pickford (known as, "America's Sweetheart" of the silent screen era). Rogers then married Beverly Ricorno (1981-1999 his death). While attending the University of Kansas, Rogers entered his photo in a Paramount Pictures talent hunt. Screen debut in Fascinating Youth (1926).
