Becker, Bob Born in Terrysville, South Dakota 10/27/1890; died 8/10/1962 in Illinois. Was the outdoor editor for the Chicago Tribune newspaper. Host of CBS and NBC Radio programs including The Bob Becker Show on CBS (1932-1944), Fireside Chats About Dogs (1934-1936) and Pet Parade (1938- 1945).
