Died 11/19/1986 at age 71 in Leonia, New Jersey. Vocalist that replaced Frank Sinatra in the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra in 1945. Also was a singer in bands of Harry James and Eddy Duchin. Appeared on radio programs with those bands in the 1940's. On Broadway in Pal Joey. Made one movie, Johnny Concho (1956). He became a columnist for The Sporting News magazine.
