Spoiler : Barnes, Binnie (birth name was Gittel Enoyce Barnes, aka Gitelle Gertrude Maude Barnes) Born in Islington, London, England 3/25/1903; died 7/27/1998 of natural causes at her home in Beverly Hills, California. Barnes and husband are intered next to comic Joe E Brown in Forest Lawn located in Glendale, California. Married to London art dealer Samuel Joseph (1931-1937); film executive Mike Frankovich (1940-1992 his death). Barnes worked in vaudeville with a rope- twirling act, for which she became known as "Texas Binnie Barnes." Acting debut with Charles Laughton in the 1931 English movie, "Silver Tassie." Moved to Hollywood in 1934, where she appeared in movies including Diamond Jim and Marco Polo. Last movie was playing Maud Ericson in 40 Carats (1973).

Spoiler : Barnes and Frankovich moved to Italy where she appeared in films there and elsewhere in Europe. She retired from films in 1954, but returned to acting briefly after moving back to America in 1960. Television actress from the early 1950s to the early 1970s, mostly appearing on talk shows such as The Tonight Show for NBC.
