Spoiler : Bill Cullen (William Lawrence Francis Cullen) Born Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, February 18, 1920 Died Los Angeles, California, July 7, 1990 Age 70 (lung cancer) Survivor of childhood polio, leaving him disabled for life, he was one of the best loved TV game show hosts of all time. He hosted more game shows than anyone else in U.S. history. He began in radio after high school graduation in 1938, as a student at the University of Pittsburgh, mainly as an announcer and disc jockey. Bill moved to New York in 1943 to be an announcer, although he was often called to be an actor. He began hosting game shows in 1944. He could be heard on Ellery Queen, Continental Celebrity Club, Sing Along, the Fun House, Winner Take All, Nora Drake, Give and Take, Casey Crime Photographer, Quick as a Flash, Dan Dodge, Stop the Music, and NBC Monitor.
