Comstock, Bill (birth name was William H. Comstock) Born in Syracuse, New York. He was a singer and drummer that turned away from music to comedy when he began providing the voice of Tizzie Lish on Al Pearce And His Gang for the CBS and NBC Radio Networks beginning in the middle 1930's, and he also brought the character to Your Blind Date on NBC-BLUE (1942).
