Died 3/22/1996 at age 88 of cancer at home in Murrieta, California. Hopkins began her career as a reporter for the Gary Indiana Post Tribune. Moved to Hollywood in the late 1930's, and became a story analyst for Republic Pictures, later a writer for Fox Pictures. Writer of documentary films during WWII. Following the war joined the NBC Television Network as a writer. Writer for various telecasts of Lassie Tales Of Wells Fargo.
