Spoiler : Fairfax, Beatrice (birth name was Marie Manning Gasch) Born in Washington, D.C. ca 1875; died 11/28/1945 at age 70 of a heart attack. She was educated in America and abroad, later she became a pioneer in female literature as a syndicated newspaper columnist, a writer of magazine articles and books and was the founder of The Women's National Press Club. She had retired in 1905, but returned in 1929 after the stock market crash to penn a syndicated King Features newspaper column that appeared in some 200 newspapers. Host of radio programs including The Lovelorn Lady on CBS (1934); Advice to the Lovelorn on Mutual (1937-1938).
