Born in Ft. Wayne, Indiana 11/1/1913. Baritone vocalist that made his radio debut in 1933 on WLW-Cincinnati. Singer in bands of Al Donahue, Emery Deutsch and Joe Haymes.

I'm eighty-one and am very interested in music from earlier eras, but I had never heard of Barry McKinley until today, when I found him while researching Annette Hanshaw's radio performances. It seems that they were billed on the same shows in 1937/8, and maybe more. Well, good. I want to know as much as possible about Annette AND her contemporaries.
