Born in Denver, Colorado 5/26/1912. Studied acting at The Yale Drama Workshop, then began acting on stage as a teenager. She appeared in one movie, playing Marjorie in Varsity (1930).

She began her radio career in 1935 acting on series including The March Of Time on CBS. Evelyn Waring on the NBC and CBS Radio Network soap, The Man I Married (1939-1942). Regular performer on The Count Of Monte Cristo for Mutual-Radio (1944-1945).
